He's got the monkey off his back - drinks all round! Miraflores Report – 31.01.2026 I trust that everyone enjoyed our first outing of the year at Miraflores. The conditions were tough as no maintenance had been carried out on the course for a week due to the adverse weather conditions. The grass on the fairways was long, the greens were slow and that, combined with no buggies on the fairways, made it very demanding. I ached all over on Sunday! On a positive note the sun shone all day....

This is your Capt speaking! Captains Welcome Firstly, a very warm welcome to all Bar 97 Members and Guests. 2025 was my first full year as a member of the society in my role as Vice-Captain. It proved to be a valuable experience, and under the excellent tutelage of Taff I gained an insight into what was needed to fulfil my responsibilities as Captain of this wonderful golf society.
