Bar 97 is a very friendly little golf society, based in Jardines de Calahonda.

We have a fluctuating membership, usually between 40-50 players and we also get quite a lot of visitors who are not here all year round but love to join in when the opportunity arises.  Our members come from far afield....England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Sweden/Switzerland/Germany/Norway/Denmark/Czech Republic/Austria, with guests from the Phillipines/Canada and Spain

We play on the last saturday of every month, various courses and always meet back at Bar97 for prize giving, food and a lot of socialising!  In 2025 we played 9 different courses.

The cost of each competion varies of course, but the price shown includes green fees/buggy/prizes and a meal back at Bar97....n.b guests pay an extra 5 euros per comp....membership for 2026 remains at just 25 euros.  Please feel free to browse the website, there's a lot of good info on there ...eg..if you check out the Competition page and click the link to any of the courses you will get access, including flyovers of that particular course.

Most competitions have an individual event combined with a team event, plus we always have prizes for NTP's ( nearest the pins ).  Points per event are accumalated over the year, resulting in a POTY ( player of the year ), which gets presented at out annual Christmas party.  Occasionaly we will have a Texas Scramble, or, as in 2025, when we staged a Ryder Cup comp....lots of fun and lots of banter!
