Thanks to everyone who turned up to play at Calanova on Saturday. The course always provides a good test of golfing skills, and Saturday was no exception. Many of the pin positions were difficult and the greens were ‘quick’. They proved too fast for me, I took five puts on the par 3, hole 6, and never really recovered from that ………..

On a more positive note those greens didn’t seem to present a problem to our winner, Martin Brennan, who scored a commendable 38 points. Well played Martin – the axe is coming for you! I would also like to mention Lolli and Jimmy who finished second and third with 33 and 32 points respectively. Well done to both of you too!

The days golf was followed by another good evening in the bar, thanks to all of you who turned up and took part.
