Here's Charlie's report for Santa Maria.

Well! what a day out we had at Santa Maria! The course looked a picture, the greens were excellent, and the scoring was generally high. The undoubted stars of the show were the Ladies, who more or less won all the prizes on offer.

All the nearest the pins were won by the Ladies. Tone was the closest on the 7th hole, Sandra on the 12th, and her shot was nearly a hole in one, Sieglinde was nearest on the 15th and the 17th.

The guest prize went to Carol O’Leary with 27 points, and I am pleased to announce that Carol is now a member of our society, welcome on board Carol! Thank

In 1st place on the Team prizes were Martin, Troy, Tone and John M with a grand total of 90 points. In 2nd place was Taff, Sieglinde, Jimmy and Mario with 88 points. Well played to you all.

The individual prizes were won by Tone in 1st place with 40 points. In 2nd place was Sieglinde with 35 points, and 3rd place, on countback, was Mario who also had 35 points.

The sun shone and Santa Maria smiled on all of us. Well played everyone.
