Marbella Golf and Country

Hi to everyone...October's comp sees us at the lovely but a little tricky Marbella Golf and Country Club...Sat 25th Oct. First tee time is 09.10...suggest we all meet approx 08.15 (ish).

We will be playing for the Tom McManus Trophy......in respect of one of the games true gentlemen and ex member of our Society.

After the comp we meet back at Bar97 for the presentation at 18.00hrs ( that's 6pm for the old folk ), with the meal to follow at 18.30. If unable to make either the meal or presentation, please let us know in advance. It would be great for Charlie to see as many of us there as possible, as you will all know by know, that this is a "dry run" for when he takes over as Captain next year....let's give him all the support he deserves!

The draw for the comp will be published Thursday morning so keep tuned in to the website.

Very important...there will be a presentation BEFORE the comp to John Campbell ( J.C ) for his hole in one at Santana...please try and be there in good time to honour this achievement.

Wee update...J.C has requested we do his presentation next month ( Santana ), as he wants to celebrate with us back at Bar97. John lives in Estapona so it wouldn't make sense to come all the way back to Bar97 tomorrow.

First tee time has been brought forward to 09.00.

Extra info: practice balls are 30 for 3 euros, discs available at reception, poor quality Srixons.

Buggies normally available 10 mins before teeing off!
