Maurice Ellis Trophy

Here we go boys and girls! Saturday 26th April we are at Santa Maria G.C

First tee is 09.28....24 players!

Format is individual plus team ( 2 best scores on each hole ).

Cost is 92 euros which includes prizes/food/golf and buggy.

We will also be playing for the Maurice Ellis Trophy. Maurice was the one who started

Bar97 Golf Society back in 2017 and is our honorary President. Back in the day we had

just 16 members, but that has grown very nicely over the past few years, so a great big

thanks to the man.

Maurice is officially bionic he has more spare parts than a car breakers yard, hips, knees, etc etc, you name it he has it, we all look forward to the day when he gets back onto the course and he can enjoy what he started.

Last years winner was young James Godwin who had a great round at La Canada, lets try and knock him off his perch this year!
