Let me start by saying how grateful I am for members advising me that they are unavailable ( for whatever reason ), it really does make my life a lot easier...a definite "no" is better than SILENCE!

Next port of call is Miraflores on 31st May. We have booked 24 players, as of 22nd we are 18 members and 4 guests, so now almost fully booked ( John Moore and Tony Mallon have dropped out so 2 places available), but we will operate a reserve list if numbers exceed the list, you can find full details of the Course on our Comps 25 page.

Please get your payments in early to Katherine or leave it at Bar 97 for Pete Beirne, I WON'T be taking payments on the day!

If Miraflores plays anything like Santa Maria you're in for a treat! Great day out.

A point worth noting...you can order a bacon roll ( or something else ) from the Golf Club and collect it from Village Inn at the 2nd hole...all nicely wrapped up and warm...highly recommended.

So here's the format for Miraflores:

24 players..18 members and 6 guests.

There will be an individual comp for both members and guests, based on stableford scoring.

There will be 6 teams of 4 players based on handicap, with the 2 best scores on each hole to count for team prizes.

Winter rules apply, you can pick, clean and replace your ball if you're on the short stuff.

You can place your ball if in a footprint in a bunker.

NO gimees! Everything must be holed out.

First tee is 09.00, with approx 7 minutes between each flight. I would suggest getting there 40 minutes earlier.

Your starting times/teams will be added here on Thursday morning, so please make sure you check back.

At the starting hut there are bags of sand which you should take to fill in your divots..common sense and good practice.
